Shelpek
Shelpek is a traditional Kazakh dish and a true highlight of the dastarkhan. It is made with natural ingredients: high-quality flour, clean water, salt, and vegetable oil. Ingredients
Premium wheat flour, water, milk, butter, egg, salt
Storage
Store at temperatures above -18 degrees Celsius. After defrosting, do not refreeze; consume frozen.
Shelf life
Shelf life: 3 months from date of manufacture at a temperature of -18 degrees.
How to prepare
Remove the desired amount directly from the freezer; defrosting is not necessary. Heat a frying pan with a little oil over medium heat. Add the shelpeks (frozen is fine) and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side, until heated through and soft and lightly golden. Serve immediately—they taste best warm.
